Slow Travel Packing Tips for the Digital Nomads

Being a remote professional has some great advantages. It gives you a chance to get out of your comfort zone and explore unseen places around the world. Normally, being a world makes you less concerned with material possessions and makes you think differently on what is important and what is necessary in life. So here you will find some of the essential things for being a digital nomad.

Tips for remote professionals gearing up for a slow traveling tour abroad:

The Important 20 Kilograms or 44 Pounds Rule:

This is a very important number you need to keep in mind, if you don’t want to pay excessive fees for extra luggage weight on local or international flights. You will have to sacrifice some items you may have once considered essential and you will need to stick to the basics you will use on your trip.

Pack the Work and Communication Basics:

When opting for a remote work and travel lifestyle, you must pack your work necessities. As a freelancer or online entrepreneur, your unlocked cell phone and a comfortable and lightweight laptop will certainly top the list here. In a slow travel program, you can’t always rely on Wi-Fi connectivity to complete your work or projects on time, so consider getting a SIM card and mobile phone plan in the country you’re visiting. Other essential items include external battery, portable hotspot, travel pillows, a handy laptop bag, portable travel routers; travel adapters, prescribed medications, necessar y documents (Passport, Visas, second form of ID, record of vaccinations), and debit card for being cash- ready always and a secure passport case.

Bare Essentials:

When opting for a remote career while travelling the world, you must consider your daily necessities. These include comfortable shoes for walking while sightseeing, a portable safe to keep your belongings secure, laundry essentials, sunscreen, water-filtering bottles, and devices you can’t live without. Noise-cutting headphones and USB fans come handy at cluttered workspaces without air conditioning, mini sewing kit, thread wallet and a portable speaker.

With these easy packing tips for a slow travel plan, you will have an excellent experience exploring new cultures and work opportunities while globetrotting.

Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any points for newbie blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.

Hi Benjamin, Thanks for your interest, I am glad you enjoyed.
A tip could be when you have an idea for a blog use your phone recorder and start dictating what is in your mind and record it, so after you finish the recording start writing 😉 this way is easier not to forget what you want to say.
      I hope it helps you.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!|
